Rams Running Club
We will be running Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays starting July 1st at Lake Overstreet Trail (Meridian Rd.) 6:00pm-6:45pm.
Cross Country try-outs will start the 2nd day of school, so everyone intrested in joining needs to make sure they are running over the summer.
| 7TH GRADE TDAP IMMUNIZATION |
7th GRADE IMMUNIZATION AND CLINIC DATES
All current 6th grade students MUST have the Tdap booster immunization BEFORE they can enter 7th grade for the 2013-14 school year.
A copy of the “blue immunization form” should be submitted to the Guidance office at Raa showing proof of immunization. Students WILL NOT be allowed to start school without submission of this information.
It is not too early to get immunizations needed for the 2013-2014 school year! The Florida Department of Health in Leon County will provide special immunization clinics targeting students needing immunizations for kindergarten entry or 7th grade attendance. The free clinics will take place:

Appointments are needed for these special clinics. To schedule an appointment, or for more information, please call the Florida Department of Health in Leon County, Immunization Program Office, at (850) 606-8020.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

8TH GRADE ADDRESS VERIFICATION
Two proofs of residence are required to be submitted to the Raa Guidance office before May 31, 2013 to assure a smooth transition for your child from middle school to high school. End-of-year-report cards will ONLY be mailed to students whose addresses have been verified through this process.
Proof of the primary residence must include one of the following documents: homestead exemption, mortgage deed, a lease or rental agreement, or property tax record; and at least one other form of appropriate documentation such as a driver’s license, voter registration card, electric utility bill, or insurance bill. Photocopies of the required documentation will suffice.
The two required proofs of residence may be provided to the school in any of the following ways to the attention of Susan Barrineau. The documents may be scanned and emailed to barrineaus2@leonschools.net; faxed to (850) 414-7702; mailed via U.S. Postal Service to 401 W. Tharpe St., Tallahassee, FL 32303; or delivered in person to the main office.
Please be sure to include your child’s name and date of birth on the documents as well as a telephone number where you can be reached and/or an email address.

If you have a phone number or address change or a special custody arrangement, please notify Guidance immediately at 488-7495 and update your childs records.
| | PAYING FEES AND COLLECTING MONIES |

Pay Stations will be set up for students to pay fees and turn in monies collected (classroom fees, fundraisers, trips, etc.) throughout the year twice a week before school on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:15 in the Science Lab. Please send money in with your child on these days only.
* If you are interested in volunteering to help with PayStations, please be sure your volunteer form has been filed and contact Lisa Neeley at 488-6287.
